Picked up my NEW :camera: Canon EOS 450D with EF-S18-200mm f/3.5-5.6 (have also got filters too, not used them yet though) on 15th January and been having lots of fun with it, as I learn what the myriad of functions do!
First bird shot with new camera First bird with new camera by In-the-picture then Golden Find by In-the-picture was even luckier to see a whole flock of over a dozen Golden Pheasants in the wild - rare to even glimpse one and spotted over twenty!:faint:
Go zoom by In-the-picture shows I picked a good lens, though have already got a desire for better :giggle:
If anyone has a spare one lying around any of the L-lenses would be awesome... :rofl:

Have been to local forest, lakes, churches as well as the river Thet for ducks, geese, swans etc as well as several trips out and about Lackford Bird Reserve, Banham Zoo and Thrigby Hall so you can expect to see plenty more shots coming at you soon. As weather picks up a bit and the light is actually brighter than the dismal greys we keep getting - I must be getting old as damp really does make me feet even more painful than normal!
:excited: Though on the foot side saw a podiatrist yesterday and hopefully feet will be a lot easier to walk in within next couple of months so yay - never good to keep being overtaken by little old ladies with shoppping trolleys :blushes:

We let our pride get in the way
Its a game we hate to play

I hate it when you are blue
Your friends just want you back
Treating you different is what they lack definitely worth the visit... especially if you have kids yourself...
