Not saying I could do it better, BUT - when I look at the EXIF it´s pretty obvious you could have taken this picture a lot sharper. At 235mm you should have been able to open the aperture to at least 5.6, icreasing the ISO to 200 or maybe 400 wouldn´t hurt too much as well. So you could have taken this picture at 1/4000s or (dunno if the 450 allowes it) at 1/8000s - the motion blur we see would have been greatly reduced.

I know those are fast beasts, still a good capture!
